Cool! I've seen lots of good things said about Big Bikes - that's where I got my bike from and was stoked with their service and more importantly the price. I did read somewhere that they're closing down though...

Today I extended the dual sport mirror on my 525 and now I can almost see behind me.

Oh and fitted a E-09 to the rear motard wheel for those road rides. :)

Yeah that's the 140/80x17 on the 17" motard rim for road based duties. This wheel has the cush drive fitted so makes the ride alot smoother and easier on the trans when on the road. Am keeping the full on knobby on the 18" rim to chase the kids around the paddocks.

I'd like a 690. If I had to have just one bike the 690 would be it I thinks.

And here it is farkled as much as its likely to be.
Adventureised with luggage, with enough room behind the rear bag for a 5l fuel can, giving me a range of about 300+ km before I hit reserve.

I put some EGO bars on yesterday, because the old Suzuki levers are really big with giant knobs on the end, I had to put a spacer on the ends of the bar. Just so happens that the axle alloy spacers fit perfectly and are a nice gold colour too!
I can keep the giant knobs....:)
Not much room for error though as the Decomp lever takes all the room up on the left side.

I also hard wired the Ipod....:) Lots of music now and always on charge.
This means I can listen to music when I stop and camp for the night and on the road too...
I have a good position for it when cruising, just sits on the tank. I do have to plug and un plug it in the 12V socket though otherwise the battery will go flat. The GPS is different as when it is turned off, it is off.
The Belkin has a little light on the end when plugged in, so will drain the battery.
All in all a good easy farkle...

Plus, the Heidenau tyres will be fitted next week on my new DR rear rim. Had this laced and it will be fitted along with new chain and sprockets...:)

Your levers got big balls? I woulda cut em off.

But, I wanted to keep my big balls, it added to the authenticity..:done:
They are old levers, replacing them might be difficult...All sorted now, no touching on the EGO's and after a bit of clutch cable adjustement, all is good. When I got home from the mechanic, I had no neutral....He said, 'your cable needs adjusting' so he did.....so much so, I could change gear just waving my hand over the lever, but when I got home, the neutral was not to be felt anywhere. So, I put it back to where it was and all is hunky dory!

Yep he should. Haven't seen anything from the South Island invasion yet.

Although I think the last vid he posted up was from a ride in 2008 so I suspect he's running a bit behind.

I'm still waiting on some classic mx footage from Oct 2007. The day after his new camera packed in and only recorded sound through Onamalutu and into the blizzard up Black Birch Track.

And it is related to video too...
I did a bit of playing and mounted the camera on the Givi...
I now have three views for the DB ride and the tour of the South...:)
It works well, as as you expect, there is a bit of vibration but it will capture the KLR's and the KTM's behind me....:Pokey:
So, there is amount on the front guard...I call it Possum Cam. There is my helmet cam, which is the best, but needs goggles at present as I haven't found a way of securing the mount unless I drill the visor and cable tie it.
The third is the best...."Rear View Cam".... Catch those guys behind me and the lay out of the road...
I can also swivel it to get the landscape to the side and a little bit of me riding or anyone alongside of me whilst keeping an eye on the road in front.
Amazing what you can do with a few toys aye! :niceone:

Been looking through my miniDV tapes but can't see it anywhere, unless it was on the D8 tapes which I can not play at the moment as that camera has been broken for a while.
Either way it's not labeled if it still exists... sorry.
