First off....i've done a bit of a search and can't find an answer for this so any input would be appreciated...
I have an 09 and the stock bars seemed a little bit low,so after some research i bought a set of RC High Twinwalls which are 10mm higher and have a 15mm increase in rise, measured against a wall the is a 30mm increase in height, rode a few times and they just felt a little bit too high.(trails not MX)
So today i done a bit of mucking around swapping them and measuring from different points and i'm a bit baffled by the results.
So i put the bike on a stand, started with the stock bars, rolled them forward a bit to the spot i like best, measured from the floor to grip, then from the foot peg to the grip.....then i put the Twinwalls on(being careful not to move anthing)put them to the sweet spot and measured to the exact same points and low and behold the measurements are the same, yet the Twinwalls look alot higher.
Now i admit i'm not an expert on different bar bends and i was goin to buy another set,but from what i see on Renthal's website there is nothing in between, and according to my measurements today i would be wasting money anyway.
For the record i'm a wisker under 6ft....cheers in advance for any input
