So I am pootling off to work at 120k and pass a couple of cars till I come up behind a car towing a tandom trailer full of gravel. I take a moment and being as yellow lines coming up I decide to be polite and fall in behind the trailer. Just as I did the trailer started a bit of a wobble. I took another look at it and within seconds the trailer began violently swinging out of control tossing the car around like a ragdoll. Unfortunately because it was so overloaded it through half a trailer of gravel ride in my path. The whole time I was just kinda going, are you kidding me?? but rode through it scrubbing off as much speed as I could while watching the car and trailer in front getting more and more out of control. I pulled up on the left of the road and the van I just passed gave me a thumbs up for my efforts. Pulled up next tot eh car and trailer and the guy was looking a little off shade of white which was kinda funny for a big black guy. He goes, damn.... I was watching you and was waiting for you to hit the ground. I went, nah, not found of falling off.
So off I pootle on my way thinking.. damn that could have worked out differently.....

i'm all for a new law.....all loads must be covered, be that trailer or truck. I'm fed up with stone chips to the bike and windscreen chips on the cage! It might even stop the odd bit of firewood or brick being left in the road waiting to trip us up!! Lucky you were onto it Lance

+1 to the well done's. But...it was all your fault.
Your doing 120kph seriously disturbed the space/time continuum, and set up a harmonic resonance in the fabric of the universe, leading to a localised shift in the earth's polarity underneath that trailer, thereby causing it to sway...
Speeding is ba-a-ad. I know this because 'They' keep telling us.

he did say.. gee, I think I better slow down and be more careful with this heavy load, to which I replied 'Youll be right now, you only got 1 load on now not 2.'
i didnt actually think of it at the time but it was so over the top that I think I subconciously was thinking.. damn thats overloaded.. Im surprised that piece of shit can tow that.........

See? That's what you get for speeding...if you had only been doing 100, you would have been way behind him when that happened.:(
Slow down young man, let that be a lesson to you!:spanking:
