black tape and No.8 wire !!! mines mounted by the mount above the intake and the one at the bottom of the casing. i also have a down tube/bar down to the lower front mount. make sure that your mounts are nice and solid. the person who built mine didnt and thats why my engine keeps trying to get out. Not for long though.....

Take a look at any sports bike to get an idea of how the front sprocket should be mounted in relation to the swingarm pivot, this is important to avoid chain issues as the rear suspension moves. The engine needs to be as central as possible in the frame width wise for even weight left to right and the front sprocket needs to line up with the rear sprocket (you could use a straight edge for this).
Having said this some people have only got these things close-ish and it dosn't seem to worry some of them.
Then weld new mounting brackets or make up adaptors to hold the engine into the frame. Yes make these solid enough.
I havn't looked at this particular combo closely but an adaptor may be needed to place the front sprocket in line with the rear once motor position is established.

Get a hand with the welding if you aren't confident. Last thing you want is for the bugger to fall out.

Jig the engine in place any way you can so the sprockets are aligned properly, and make up all your brackets with the hacksaw, electric drill, and file. Tack them in place and get someone to wild them for ya.

Find a long narrow, straight road, put a rider on the FXR and tell him to go like hell. Chase him on your Loncin and at predetermined spot, some where near maximum speed, the FXR must jam on both brakes. It won't be long before your Loncin is mounted in the FXR.

Should bolt right in bro. Just file or over drill any holes that don't line up. If that don't work use smaller diameter bolts and smash them with a hammer until they go through.

take a photo of Loncin motor and the frame post them up so we can see. does loncin have a mounting point above the exhaust port? because fxr frames are steel they easy to cut and weld. most of this stuff is easy no 1/100mm stuff required, hell even if you cock it up a bit it will still be ok.
