Yes, it was worth the effort. We came and made a noise. The Union turn out was dissappointing but it has made me personally so much more up and behind this protest because it is the right thing to do. Stoney, Riffer and Co made this a true protest. If it comes down to us then FFS let it be us.
Had a great chat with Caseye afterwards about where to from here and a fantastic inspring beer with some great people after, certainly made me want to push this even harder.
So, it was worth it, every fecking minute of it. There is so much more to do but I'm up for it and I know the bikers are, so lets have it.
Sorry for my wailings by the way, hope everyones ears are ok....

It was worth it in the sense we're telling the Govt & the (dis)honorable Nick Smith, that we're still here & aint going away anytime soon, but the turn out was kinda piss poor, I think the unions could have done much better then they did.
I think we need BOKEOI ver2.0 (Just to throw a "Buzz" word in there) but this time we invite every car club & truckie org in NZ lets clog the streets of Wellington make some noise & show that New Zealands can be a force to reckon with and we want ACC to be as was intended!

On a more important matter tho, does anyone know where I can catch a clip of Fatt Max's wicked ACC song?

Ratti

not just truckies. what about Greypower next time? Affluent, influential and soon to be caught in the net for sure.

too right it was worth it.The line up at the front is looking very slick .the speakers were varied and interesting, goes to show there is an understanding about this issue across a wide cross section of society.I am sure you all noticed a LOT of people did peep out to see what was happening. The actual number s were disapoimting but we have raised the awareness that we aint finished with this.I think it was good even from that point of view

Hi all,

Photo's are up from today - a bt haphazard due to the amount of portait shots - but I will look into that tomorrow (or so). As per last time, there is no charge for the photo's however, if last time was anything to go by - delivery times may be a little slow as my priority is (obviously) paying clients!

Well you Tube has got me Buggered!

I coverted my Videos into Mpeg2, Mpeg4, WMV and even FLV formats.... all have the same results.

The upload bar reaches 100% ok but the little rotating icon just keeps rotating.... I left it run over night thinking it was just slow but still no joy.

The file size is 180MB and the video is nearly 3 mins long. I believe this fits with the upload maximums of less than 2gigs and 10 minutes.

I have even viewed the You Tube upload tutorials and have had someone else recheck what I have done.

Have tried and tried and tried and now I'm about to give up.

Does anyone have any suggestions before I give up in disgust

Was about to ask about how the fatt max YouTube appearance was getting on, unfortunately my advice on uploading would be as useless as National's ACC Accounting Department, its been 4yrs since I last uploaded something to YouTube, I could suggest (if your not already) using something like Handbrake to see if you can get that file size down a bit before uploading in-case this is the problem somehow.

Thanks Scuba Steve.

I dumbed it down to AVI 26 MB and finally success.

Just wish I could have loaded it in HD as the video and sound is miles better.

Max man, you should go on like that NZ Idol thing, you`d cane the lot of them!

Look...any protest is a good protest...better than sitting on your A.R.S.E. doing nothing.

Cheers P38 been hanging out for that song lol,
I saw a radio NZ person at the protest recording too maybee we all need to continuously request the song be played, its catchy enough it could turn into kinda a mini cult classic while having a side effect of continuously pushing the ACC protest

Yep the protest was definately worth it, sure there weren't as many people there as the first one but I for one will keep coming back to do it again.

We gotta keep making a noise.
