A friend of mine has decided he would like to go out with a lady that rides and regularly. A relaxed attitude with a sense of humour would be good. He lives in New Plymouth. Not sure what to say, so please ask questions.

Slimy little friend of yours, post his pics up and let the regular lady riders decide.

mni, your penchant for possible public humiliation (of others) is unequaled my sweet.
But yes, pics for the rest of the ladies. Is only fair. :D

not necessarily. It is tricky to find someone the right age with a shared love of riding.. Hey I'm 40's, widowed and ride..would I do?

Seriously I know a few women here who fit that category. Dont diss him just cos he's giving it a go. NZD and FIndsomeone are ok, but still a lot of dross to filter your way through, trust me, been there. Have met some really nice chaps, but none who 'get' bikes. Must be even harder for a man who is looking for a woman who 'gets' bikes.
hang in there, the right person will turn up eventually and it'll all be worthwhile.

I guess you ask in places like this in order to get the word or mouth recommendation... perfectly logical... Plus I seen your butt clad in leather with yer name across yer ass before... reckon you'll be sweet :innocent:

I know Ally, I could take you up to 'naki on the back on Z. You try the dude out one day and I'll try him the other day. You can choose whether you want first go.

96? lol, still gotta bit of get up and go left in him yet. I did elder care for a while, some of those old buggers are go-ers from way back and dont let age slow them down, that and the general lowering of social inhibitions as one ages.

Not that it's relevant to the thread but a workmate received a call from the rest home where her father resided, at 78 he had contracted an STD from a cleaner turning tricks for pension money...
NZD worked for me, been happily part of a duo for more than 3 years & my partner wants her own bike now. Bugger, were have my smilies gone?

I good approach to finding a partner. An old friend of mine was a keen golfer, separated with grown up family, and was seeking a new partner. He only wanted someone who shared his passion for golf and asked some of his golfing buddies to keep an eye out for a suitable female. He is now happily living with a woman who shares his interest. There is no reason why that approach can't work for motorcycling - seem to be a few attractive babes on KB.

Careful though. We match-made two who we thought would hit it off.

She turned completely Bogan in leather and he spent the next six weeks complaining about the smell of Steinlager and Rothmans in his spare helmet.

Never again.

He laughed when he saw this, fair enough if you want to try him out, he feels used already. hahaha. I will have to figure out how to get a photo of him on here if its important. Or we could just all go for a ride, we normally ride every Sunday and we could maybe meet you girls for breakfast/lunch in Wanganui or Palmerston.

I would try NZdating, you may meet a friend or more, either way it opens up a new range of people - NZ dating has a few weirdos but I met an awesome man on that site and yes I had motorcycle as one of the criteria. I always thought weirdos did internet dating but it is becoming more mainstream.
If you do it put in your profile that you are looking for someone to ride with - you never know who you will find (I found my husband!)
