For no other reason than I think it deserves a thread of it's own, and no doubt most of us were very concerned... how is Jamie after his altercation with the track and his bike at Manfeild?

Well for the first time in nearly two years he had suspension that was working properly and not screwing tyres. So in an attempt to get on terms with the bikes with more horsepower he was able to crash at a higher speed. SO BLAME ME!
But in all sincerity it was horrific and Id wish that on nobody, get well very soon Jamie!!!

I know it was a while ago now, but can anyone give us an update on how Jamie is? Is he coming back to racing?

Jamie has been coming to the racing and I had a chat with him round 1. He ended up being alot better than originally predicted. Broke his femur in 2 places really badly, kind of like a corkscrew break. He may have broken his collar bone to but can't remember exactly what he did to it. He has a loooong recovery ahead and will probably have to have one more operation to remove metal but isn't sure yet.
He is in amazingly good spirits and very realistic about life.
He'll be fine, eventually.

Thanks for the update. As the marshals who attended (YT and I) before anyone else could get to him, it is nice to hear that he is well on the mend.
