I dunno. In not too many years I wont be able to hold 2 wheels up so something like this will be a godsend.
I'd still like to give it a fang now.

Yeah I'm doing the KR blurb on it - based on eating a very large slice of humble pie.
Don't shoot off trap till you know what you are talking about pie.
I was right about trikes being impractical compared to a motorbike. I simply didn't realise how much fun they were in their own right.

Approach this thing as an exhilarating open wheel sports car and man it's a hoot.

Even the kids were into it.

You love them or hate them. I (we) just love them but it takes approx 800 / 1000 Km to re program your brain. Will probably extend our motor cycle life style by 20 + years.

I'm only a measly meager fella .. not strong enough to keep it turning around corners.

I don't regret taking it out, but definitely not for me .. granted the chick magnet factor is awesome tho'

Mrs TA felt she was getting catapulted off the back every time I turned a corner.
Finished that day on an XR1200 .. just to "balance" things out a bit :D

Poor wee thing. Really whipping it out of a tight corner is a real buzz.

It needs 40-50 pooonds in the rear suspension too. I thought it was a rigid till we pumped it to max. Mucho difference.

>>>Mrs TA felt she was getting catapulted off the back every time I turned a corner.<<

This is typical with all 3 wheels and quads.

It isn't about strength it's about technique. You steer by push pull. Becomes instinctive after awhile . Have just finished a weeks ride on ours , was too short by at least a week.

A Rocket III Roadster.

Different machines and apps. Spyder is reasonably high performance and $30k.
Harley is a pretty special show machine and $50k.
I don't think there is a lot of cross over really - just the same number of wheels. I'd be happy with either in my Jay Leno Garage.

Rocket 111 trike ..... hmmm - low, with really wide rear wheels.

While I can see the Harleyness of the Road King equivalent trike, I'd be more interested in a stripped down lightweight one using the XR1200 sporty as a base. Lean low and mean.

Make mine in black please.
