I seem to recall it had a number for a name - maybe? - and was located in the southern eastern quadrant of the Norf Island...I even looked up Google maps at the time to ogle the windy bits etc...and now I can't remember what the %$#@ it was...

So from that pathetic description, can anyone turn my memory back on for me pleeeeezzz?

Google says 21 hours but it's only 1,200km. 21 hours is about my average time for the GC - without being silly.

We did the entire route 52 in the dark and pouring rain a couple of years ago as a part of the GC - it was quite a mission and probably took around 3 hours for the 200km...

Route 52 is a great ride but you will come across stock on the road, debris on the road, road works, gravel, uneven surfaces - and lots of corners. Take care!

That is always the way of a good route.. you forget its' name quickly afterwards.. Sometimes you even forget its' name during the route, and a few times even beforehand!
