Help with DT/ IT 175

are the pistons the same for an it 175 and a dt 175?

anyone know what other pistons will slot into the it 175? thanks in advance for any help

not 100% sure.. but i think they were different motors...
whats wrong with your piston??
your local yamy dealer should be able to help you out........................................

yeah i bought a project bike. it doesnt have a piston. so yeah, need to find one!! lol. hoping someone can tell me that a piston out of something else will fit . . . . .

According to the wiseco site the pistons are different for the DT & IT though the bore sizes are the same it could be related to crown shape, or port sizes.

The bore & stroke dimensions for both bikes are the same: standard measurement = 66 x 50
