It was about Kevin Silks (sp) who died in Malborough last year.
He slid on black ice into a van.

Yeah, it was about Black Ice and the reporting of it. And if efficient could have prevented the death. Unfortunately as cold as this sounds, woulda, shoulda, coulda...didn't. And thats the bottom line.

It was the coroners report today.... that they were reporting on.

It's a wonder some LTNZ or Police spokesthing didn't say he was travelling too fast for the conditions.

And idea as to why salt isn't spread on the roads here during winter ?
It's great for melting ice (and corroding metals).
