View Full Version : June 3rd - Dinner, Wellington

Hi Guys. Thought I would book in advance so nobody has an excuse why they wouldn't turn up, unless of course you have, well, an excuse.

Just as a general get to gether, dance around the table type thing as it has been far too long since the last dinner, where I must say I had a very nice Guiness pie.

Venue, well, I have one in mind which is that place, damn, whats the name, it used to be Paris, but then got gutted with fire and is now something else.

If there are any better suggestions, just yell out, or type, you can choose.

Hows that for a plan? :grouphug:

Only thing, if some smarmy waitor tells me that it's a great idea if we get a group starter, I'm going to go postal :msn-wink:

I don't consider myself to be crazy but others may disagree.

Disturbed maybe. :whocares:

Watching this thread with interest but unfortunately may be able to attend.

Will there be any non alchohic refreshments? Nice link Stonechucker. I have trouble holding down adult drinks. :puke:

Will there be a ride the next day ? :ride: I haven't riden in about 2 weeks I like the heater in the car and don't want to upset the neighbours with my early starts.

Is BugJaz really moving to OZ?

How much does a main cost? I'm just a poor boy from a poor family

Yes there will be non-alcoholoic drinks, I will be drinking them too.
Not sure about a ride, you staying the night? If so, we can make one!

We won't be up for a ride the next day as we're heading north for the long w/end. We may leave after work Friday (in which case we won't be at dinner) or else first thing Sat AM. (we're taking the car)

I might end up "taking the car" as well! Feel guilty taking car after all this site is meant to be about bikes and here I am thinking about attending events in a cage. It's sacrilegious (correct spelling)

Never fear about that, I have no bike, its been turned into a toaster. :bye: So on long bike rides, I put on a good pair of running shoes and try to keep up. Makes it much easier when there are stationary events (less running) :weird:

Thanks for a great night guys...It was good to catch up with all those I spoke with...Hi to Lisa & Claire, sorry I never got to chat longer, but I didn't want to end up stuck in Welly City when I live in *The Hutt* And for those that I didn't get to talk to, you have my apologies, I probably could not find my feet!

Nice meal - mine was cheap as...

Excellent meal best steak I've had in a while.

Mine was as cheap as too. I left without paying the bill. I realised this about 30ks down the road and ended up stopping at a service station and ringing up the DandB to assure them I'd be back next weekend to pay for it.

Great meeting more KiwiBikers (Ducati owners group members)

Dropped by on my way to catch Train home - sorry could not stay longer. Have to say that Lynda's Ducati signage at bottom of stairs was a nice touch!
