Got them...they have "neurofen" emblazened over the packaging....nothing like a good dose of ibuprofein...ulless you have codene as well...

I would like opinions from all, but especially from medical folks.

If/when I am first on the scene at any motor vehicle accident/incident, usually there isn't a lot I can do except make sure the emergency services are actually summoned, and then see what the bent person needs - sometimes they just need feet held elevated so they don't black out, or someone to listen to them talk.

It occurs to me, that if I had some Lorazepam or Diclofenac, I would be tempted to give it to them just to help them settle down. I have been reprimanded in the past to give a patient NOTHING until someone qualified makes a decision.

What are peoples' thoughts on this? If it were me on the side of the road in pain and someone had either or both of the above, I would be most grateful. Should something like this be carried? If I did give them something, should I write a note and hand it to the ambulance staff? Or should I keep my beak out of shit that I don't know?

There is no 'getting sick', there are no holidays and i wouldn't look at it as being demoted....more along the lines of a promotion. You can't go any higher, you have reached you peak.
