I'm looking for some pics of the Plastic Fantastic when Robert Holden rode it in the 1984/85 season in it's Yellow and white colour scheme.
My mission, which I've already decided to accept is to get an old school signwriter to duplicate the Superior springs logo on the side, currently it's a modern generated sticker off a hazy photo.
I'm interested in any photos of the bike to preserve it's history and for displays the betterer the piccies of the logo the easier it will be for me to do.
any pit shots would be great, they're always good to look at and see whose lurking in the background
cheers

Spyda, you're not interested in when it was silver, when Dave had it ?
I'm sure I had a calendar from 83, that he gave me. It's large about 2' by 3', with 1 shot for each month. I'll have a dig. G.

I'm interested in any shots thanks right now i'm targetting pics of the yellow set up so I can get the signage more authentic.
I have an old school sign-writer a few houses up and a few months off work so may as well make use of the time and get some of those gunna do jobs sorted.
By the way, the plastic never was Silver, that's the alloy bike. One of the complaints they had in Europe with the alloy bike is it was too hard to photograph cause of the alloy and silver paint! When the plastic was made they choose white, I asked Steve Roberts was this to attract sponsors etc he simply said it was something different
cheers

Try Euan Cameron in ChCh - he was active at most of the Natonal rounds back then and has an enormous archive.
Pretty sure Robert rode it at the ChCh meeting on the streets of Sydenham when Ruapuna was unavailable.
