Like SC said, careful where you put the helmet, you probably just put it there for the photo but I had to find out the hardway

If you dont wanna put helmet on ground.. put it over the mirrors, little trick that got shown to me last ride :D

Nice looking bike, considering a VTR myself, i like the naked bikes :D

Pretty hard to find 250 bandits unfortunately, guess ill have to buy a 1000 one or whatever tehy come in:D

Dude, I hope you enjoy your VTR as much as i do mine. Good choice for a new rider (and one like me who ad a 10 year hiatus from riding and wanting to get back into it). When I was looking at bikes, I was hmming and hahing between the VTR or an in-line 4 like a Baleus, Bandit or Hornet and reckon I made the right choice for rideability in the city traffic and performance on the open road. Sure it won't do 180km/h like the 4's, but get into the twisties and it holds the road like glue.

I wouldn't mind getting ours side by side to compare whats different between the '00 and the '04 though.

Looking good mate. But as the other chaps have said put that lid on the ground.

Hope that you've got some warm gear so you are all set for the next few months.

Nice bike! :niceone:

Your helmet looks like an HJC CL12, which is a perfectly reasonable helmet, maybe a bit noisy, but will protect your head fine. Have you got all the rest of your body protected too? If not, I'd suggest spending your money on that first before upgrading the helmet.

Yeap I got every part of my body cover !! Heehee This helmet is given by the last owner of the bike .. and its been given from the previous owner (Im the 3th owner of this bike) so im not in a rush to get a new helmet... coz its too expensive here ... plan to go back to Taiwan for a trip maybe but one when i in Taiwan!!! Just want to do some reserch how different between these brands!!
