Despite my extreme optimism it was wet come Saturday morning, I was really hoping the bad weather would pass over night.

Because of said optimism I hadn't had the tyres changed to wets so after unpacking it was off with the wheels and over to Kerry.

Tyres changed, signed in and ready to go!

Qualified 4th in F3 and 6th in F1.

F3 Race 1:
Had a alright start. It had started raining just after the F1 race some the track was fully wet with streams of water running across the track on the entry to turn 1 and turn 8.
Raced this one on my own mostly but I was feeling really good by the end. crossed the line 4th again.

F1 Race1: So from the SV straight onto the gixxer.
I had a decent start, and got thru turn one 7th, Choppa flew up the in side exiting turn one and disappeared into the distance. I spent most of this race behind Hayden Fitzgerald. Thought I was slowly reeling him in until he looked around and saw me and pulled the pin. Crossed the line 5th with a best time of 2:08:5. I felt really slow and the lap times show it, I'm 4 seconds off of what I was doing the last time we raced the long track in the wet. I really didn't want to bin so I guess that was a postive.

F3 Race 2:
Had a bad start and got swamped, not wanting to bin it this round, I was very tentative for the first 4 laps, got passed by Chris Osbourne on his gsxr 450. That made me pull my socks up abit and gained a extra place trying to stay with him. There was a drying line by the end of this race and the rear was starting to move around abit. Lucky there were two streams running across the track and some standing water in places. Managed to cross the line 4th in F3 with a best time of 2:13.833.

F1 Race 2:
Had a good star straight up to fifth at turn 1, and I just tryed to be as smooth as possible and a spent the race by myself. Unfortunatly for Peter Tanner he lost the front going into the hairpin on the extension pushing me upto 4th for this race.

I was a disappointed that I couldn't get my groove on so to speak, and I was unable to pick up the gas as soon as I wanted, and was constantly haunted by the thought of binning feeling movement in the bikes when there probably was no real concern.

We finished the weekend 3rd in F1 and 4th in F3 and we are now sitting in 4th place in the championship in both classes.

Thanks to all the people who give up there time so we can all have a blast in the wet conditions!

Thanks to Steve & Jon for helping out in the pits. Thanks also to Peter Harkess, Moto TT trackdays, Gigabyte Soultionz, Dunlop, ExpandaSign, Chris Mitchell Motorcycles, Alick Saunders Photography, Qmoto & Acacia Bay R&R! :2thumbsup

yeh, jumping from one jappa onto another...with gears & brakes all on the same side, throttle, brakes, two wheels...damn, how does he do it?!:shifty:

great vid; your pit crew must be uber-dedicated & possess top notch technical skills to mount the cam & pull that masterpiece off!

oh, well ridden too! think the K3 needs gearing dropped a weeeeee bit more

Have you ever jumped from a twin to an inline and hit it at racepace.... its even harder when your partner runs reverse shift.... :shit:
