Where to for an hour or two about AK?

Most likely this has been asked before so if there is a link please let me know.

With an hour or two to kill where is your favourite short ride around Auckland. Suitable for a short cruise at nana-like speeds so as to enjoy the scenery.

Ive done Piha, Kumeu/Riverhead, Muriwai and preferance is for seal and little traffic to ruin the ride.

Any suggestions?

The lighthouse on the south head of Manukau harbour, Awhitu peninsula.

Kawakawa bay (1hr each way). Can go further up the road for a longer ride and return via SH1.
