As per the comment in the current thread (this is the old one), it was apparently the son of the account holder who was bidding. While the lady was lovely, she couldn't/wouldn't complete the sale.

Then there were some tyre kickers when I had it on the grass verge, and now it's relisted.

I would be but unfortunately the CDFO has vetoed any more bike purchases until end of July, at which time White Trash and Crasherfromwayback will be working hard to find me something really nice with low kms in the 1000cc range...
