Let's face it.
Motorcycle riding is all about Hedonism.
It just feels Good.
On the hottest day last summer I was riding the summit road here in Christchurch thinking about this...
Oh wouldn't it be nice, so very very nice, if just for one day a year, we could say "Bugger AGATT! I'm riding NAKED".
Imagine that.
Imagine if some kindly folk organised the summit road from say, Hill top to Little Akaloa to be closed to cars and all on coming traffic.
Imagine if they swept all the loose gravel off the road.
Imagine if everybody agreed (on pain of being caned on bare bum) to stick to a 50kph speed limit.
And we all went puttering along starkers, no gloves, no helmet, no clothes!
Right now I couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery... but I can but put the idea out there and hope some bright soul will make it happen.

Hey you got chooks? We got one that 'turned up' at our place. You want? SWMBO has delusions of keeping it as a pet  I've suggested I have a sharp axe  but apparently that's a no go either

I'd be keen but I'd keep the helmet on.
That way everyone could focus on the goodies.

Wussies! I think I'll have to join up with, whats that bunch of old codgers with the "Grow Old Disgracefully" motto? Ulysses Club, that's it.
If they really mean that motto... I bet they won't be scared to let their wrinkly dinklies hang out. After we've gone by your chooks eggs should come out hard boiled!:woohoo:
Got nothing to do with eyeing the lads on their trikes. After all, I have Moobs that would make your daughter proud!
It's about flying gently along feeling the wind and sun on your (wrinkly?) skin and in your hair (what's left) amidst some of the most amazing scenery going.:scooter:
