The film is about a 31 year old lower socioeconomic class with a passion to be a boxer, she comes from a white trash family that treats her like shit, but she has nothing but wholehearted love to give in return.
She starts boxing at a struggling boxing gym, she tries to get a washed out manager to train her, slowly but surly she proves herself to him, as you do.
Anyway she strives and becomes a knockout machine, but it all goes down hill.
I give this movie a rating of 8...

I kicked my gf out of the car when she told me how gladiator ended an made her walk home, ruined a good movie for me the ............
