I was taking the piss actually. If you can ride a bike hard enough to overheat a shock enough for it to be alarming why are you riding a GSX1400 and not a motogp bike?

well i know of another in south island rider doing the class,
so we need a three more, remember its just entries at first round,
maybe if you get a free one at your home club it might be worthwhile spending a few $ to make the entries to six to make a championship and then just do the rounds you want, and you might end up with a low number on your bike, not sure on james smith and suzuki, but im think suzuki would want to win both 1000cc classes, who else is keen.................

There is nothing wrong with the forks on a GSX1400. They do a fantastic job of holding the front wheel at the front of the bike - generally LoL

* All Superstock machines must be older tan 27 years old.
* All Superstock machines must be less than 573cc and have fucked camchains and tensioners.
* All Superstock machines must have rubber footrests.

FFS Chop, you of all people know that you simply can not make rules that will build participation in NZ road racing. The fact is, those that want to do it, will. And they'll find a class that they can meet. Others (myself included) will bitch that the rules are too loose/tight and they're driving punters away.

Andy still has plenty of respect for what was achieved & some of his records still stand.
But as you are an even longer streak of weasel piss than i am, - it mite be a struggle for you to compete...., but feel welcome to try and come and "rob us all".

In the meantime can you make sure that the cellphone coverage & a quality coffee supply is at all tracks for us northerners - otherwise our dresses will get all ruffled.

Speaking of things from the North, I had a chat with Ray Clee this morning, he had heard rumors that there was development work at teretonga and was wondering if the garages were up yet.
Unfortunately no, however we do have a new control tower where that old monstrosity used to be.
I am assumming that the new pits and sheds will be next on the adgenda, however I have no idea of a timeline (or if the pits will be on the inside or the outside of the circuit)

Yeah there weren't enough entered so there is just the superbike class. There were enough superstock 600's although it seems to have just created two classes with 8 or so entries, which seems a bit redundant. I still can't work out why the stock class can't acquire points for both classes at the same time. Would certainly make the supersport championship a tighter race.
