Awesome video. The guy at the beginning in the orange shirt shaking hands is a friend of mine called Eric 'GoGo' Gulbranson, a fantastic competitor, story teller (his race reports are legendary) and all round good guy. I've seen that clip before on the BARF (Bar Area Riders Forum) racers forum and their race club is the AFM.
Very inspiring ... makes me very envious of you guys tackling the nationals.
Good luck to you all.

Many of you will already be aware, but for those who are not, Moto Academy NZ has the great pleasure of announcing that Amirul Hafiq Azmi will be contesting the first three rounds of NZSBK 2011 125GP class.

Amirul is 14 years old from Selangor in Malaysia. He is here to develop his 125GP skills and experience before he heads to Europe to race there this year.

Keep an eye out for the #66 Moto Academy NZ Honda RS125!

shock to see that it isn't on the MNZ website like Rounds 1-3 are. They may put it on within the next few weeks seeing that those Rounds aren't until weeks later.
You can contact the following for the final 2 Rounds being Round 4 Run by The Auckland Motorcycle Club at Hampton Downs on the 26/27th March...... Chris Costello on 027-4371251 & Round 5 Run by The Manawatu Orion Motorcycle Club on April 2nd-3rd at Manfield........ Debbi Ritchie on 027-2551211. Hope this helps you in some way.

5,4of mine and Max Woodruffe plus bringing down some nice shiney new fibreglass for Seth Devereux for his new Ninja and I believe Jake Lewis has a Ninja as well.

See you there.

On another note,I have just been notified the GPX 250 1988-2007 have now been homologated for the class as well as the Honda VTR 250 2002 onwards

Now there you go.
IMO that really means NO excuses. The GPX is fundamentally the same bike as the 250 Ninja, goes really really well in the class and can be had for a song.
Just ask Paddy Doohan.

Well its been fairly tough going for those Riders who are competiting in this years Nationals so far . The weather hasn't been the best and with both the 1st round and 2nd not going to the end of the programme has been something that has been totally out of everyone's control except for Mother Nature.

I think all you Racers out there need to start doing the Sun Dance and pray that the remaining Rounds will see it shining itself proudly in the sky.

Disappointing for you all as anyone knows how much time and effort and money goes into competiting in them.

Here's keeping our fingers cross that you will soon get a full Race meet in.
