Just putting out a 'feeler', I've recently become the importer/distributor for some very cool gear from Europe. This gear includes some LED indicators, each indicator has 12 LED's in it so it's very bright. Just checking at the moment that the European Union certification is accepted here (EU's version of DOT). Just wondering how many people may be interested in aftermarket indicators.

This is just a 'feeler', if there is enough interest I'll advertise the product in the sales section and give a good discount.

Cheers.

a link or a pic would be handy.

As per the WOF/Legal aspect, as long as stuff has a marking of some sort it should be passed, the EU thingo should be fine.

Are there integrated mirrors with indicator LED clusters on them!? after a set as I have mismatching mirrors that are crap

I've attached a photo of the indicator. I should mention also, that they are multi positional - basically you can have them at 3 different positions, sticking right out, almost pushed back onto the fairings, and in between these two settings. Making them very good for track days - just push them out of the way.

Cheers.

This is my first posting, hope I do it right.

I would be interested in some LED parking lights for my Suzuki GSX750Y. What appeals to me about LEDs is that they draw so little current so that one could leave on the parking lights for a long time.

Stephen

Sorry about the delay, just downstairs taking some photos. Price is ruffly about the hundred mark (for two indicators), a resistor box (so they flash at the right speed) will also be available for around $12, but the strong kiwi dollar helps here. The photos I've attached, you can see the range of movement that these indicators offer, also the attachment method, also pics of my cbr with them attached. The people who have seen these in the 'flesh' love them, if there is a member who everyone trusts who lives in Hamilton, I would be happy to meet up with them so they can see them and give you guys their opinion.

would you have any shots with the indicators going? like as in illuminated?

Do they fit any bike? or is it bike specific?

any chance of you having a look at an 03/04 ZX6 and seeing if they'd fit in the front canyons of holes that Kawa punched in? Really really really keen as a bean on these.. like, really..

I'll try and get some pics done tonight of them going, they are really good and bright - I'm one of those bikers that needs their indicators to be see able. With fitting, I think these should fit any bike that has two holes in the fairings for the OEM indicators to go. One hole is for the lines to go through, and the other is for the indicator to be fixed to the fairing - usually via a bolt. With the LED indicators, the lines/cords go through just like stock, but it is afixed by a small screw with a washer on the inside of the fairings (you can see this in the picture above, it's the white circle), with this method, if you had a really big hole for the OEM bolt to go through, you could just get a larger washer.

If anyone is in the Hamilton area and wants to have a look at these, or to let me look at their bike to see if they would fit, just pm me and we can arrange a time. Alternatively, if you have a pic of what your indicator looks like (the end especially where it attaches to the bike) I can tell you if it would fit your bike or not.

The admin have kindly added me to the bike shops group, so as soon as I get word back from LTSA, I can put these up for sale - either as road legal or show only.

They look good, I'm interested

Will they be available in different colours instead of the silver? Black would be ideal

Sorry it must be the pics, the indicator body is black. I'm on a public PC at the moment, but when I get home (hour or so) I'll post a pic of the rear LED unit. This unit will be around the $200 mark (but again I hope to be able to lower this for KBers). The unit comprises of an LED brake light, LED indicators, LED licence plate lights, and an optional licence plate bracket - basically a fender elimator. Really good looking unit, especially for those bikes that don't have intergrated brake or turn signals. For those with intergrated lights in the rear, it's great to have on your race plastics as it can come off via four bolts - currently looking at doing this for a friends 916 Ducati so he can order a race monoposto rear and not have to worry about putting his brake lights into it.

Here are some more pics, for my money the LED indicators are brighter than the OEM indicators on my honda (the usual one lamp jobbies), also due to the sheer number of LED's in each indicator they are quite visable from the sides as well - aided also by the ability to position the indicators as you wish. Also pictured in the rear unit, as you can see it's fairly trick. There is a bracket that comes out from the brake light unit that you can bolt into your tail - certainly alot cleaner than most OEM tail units.

Cheers.

The one that's one is low beam, the one which is off is high beam. I know I know, but thats the way they come from the factory. Much prefer them to be both able to do low and high beam - but the reflective material around each bulb is different, they actually both use the same wattage bulb.

The rear bracket looks too big for a kiwi mc plate, yes/no?
Do you have the indicators that mount to the end of the handlebars?

The licence plate bracket is about right, I'll get a pic of it with a my plate on it. Sorry I don't have the indicators that go on the end of the bars.

I've taken a couple of pics of the bracket with my plate lying on it. The size of the bracket isn't perfect. However, the bracket is an optional extra for the rear LED unit. The extra can simply be cut off at a local metal work shop (for those who don't have the tools), or just left. The top of the bracket is at the top of the photo.

Cheers.

the right or left hand config leaves some space for a wof and reg holder to slot in nicely!?!

Also it provides room for the reflector. This is the only thing which needs to be added - couple of bucks at the local bike shoppie.
