Shiny side up

I have finally clocked over the old XJ... I have a 1984 Yamaha XJ550 that I commute on every day. ON Sunday (23/1/11) it finally got to 100000 Km.. ( the clock goes up to 99999.9Km) Been very reliable but I am now trying to find a 600 bandit or hornet.
Also thumbs up to the 1 Tonne helmet site.... they were able to supply me with a new chin bar release from my helmet.

Pah, I had one that'd done over 300,000km (not that I'd done that mileage on it :msn-wink:). Stupidly reliable bikes. It drunk oil though

Good things take time huh?
Just traded my 2008 KTM with 63k on the clock. 1-2 more years and she would have been around the clock and probably risen in value :niceone:

At 110,000km my XJ550 used a litre of oil per 1000km :niceone:, it was retired not long after with a burnt out valve

Great effort Mate, a blast from the past!
