    Thumbs up Clocked at last

I have finally clocked over the old XJ... I have a 1984 Yamaha XJ550 that I commute on every day. ON Sunday (23/1/11) it finally got to 100000 Km.. ( the clock goes up to 99999.9Km) Been very reliable but I am now trying to find a 600 bandit or hornet.
Also thumbs up to the 1 Tonne helmet site.... they were able to supply me with a new chin bar release from my helmet.

Pah, I had one that'd done over 300,000km (not that I'd done that mileage on it ). Stupidly reliable bikes. It drunk oil though

    Good things take time huh?

Just traded my 2008 KTM with 63k on the clock. 1-2 more years and she would have been around the clock and probably risen in value

At 110,000km my XJ550 used a litre of oil per 1000km , it was retired not long after with a burnt out valve

Great effort Mate, a blast from the past!

A Mate has one tucked away not being used, same colour.
