CRAP refers to the riders, not the bikes...

No arguing with that then.

Looks quite nice for a Yamahaha.

I thought the general guidelines to C.R.A.P., was that the rider had to ride a bikethat was popularwhen they, (the rider) was in their late teens?

Therefore squire, thou shalt be riding a tri angulated Daimler manufactured horseless carriage, with a man in a tweed suit out front waving a red flag:dodge::dodge:

(I'm just jealous. Nice Yammy)

Very nice. Looks bloody mint, like new.

I'd love to get me hands on one, but I'd need one a bit less good. I'd feel guilty messing around with one that... original.

I figure if I get that tank off of it and replace with a Don Vesco one, add some aftermarket shocks, cartridge emulators - I'm good to go:yes:

Nice! I remember when our neighbours got an old one of those, compared with our XR185 it was a beast. :shit: Did you see the guy at the CCA a few years back on a 76? TT500 (550?) that he had bought new. Big tank & enduro gear from the era & he had ridden it down from Northland. Very cool.

Cheers
Clint

Tom Brodie has a 76 TT500 (orange) that he bought new, I think he was at that CCA.
It's got a Don Vesco tank on it.

That was the one, always neat to see old bikes that have been well used and well cared for too.

If it's about the riders it should be G.H.E.Y.

What is the difference between an xls500 and a xr500 of that year? I am talking running gear/engine not lights speedos etc.

State of tune and suspension mainly.
