... it's starting to annoy me. Movies coming out and I start getting all excited, here we go, should be a bloody good movie.......... when it finally arrives. So I scour the internet searching for the world release dates and more often than I thought would be the case, nada. Feck all, not even a, we're still thinking about it...
Anyhoo, t'would be spendid if anyone could find out when Atlas Shrugged (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0480239/) is coming to our shores... it opened up in the states 3 days ago and is getting mixed reviews.

I really can't understand why people would therefore be tempted to download the movies :innocent:

Given the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes I don't think I'll be spending money to see Atlas. It's only the first of three parts, anyway.
It'll turn up on the torrent sites pretty soon

the issue is that we have a geographically diverse market but only 4 and a bit million people in total... so disttributors have to wonder whether the cost of showing a film will give them a return. Its a no-brainer for Avatar, or anything with the loathsome Adam Sandler, much less so for anything niche. Short answer: I reckon it will be a festival release if its released at all.
Think of the plight of the movie loving punters of Christchurch: Regent on Worcester is toast, Rialto is closed till further notice, even Hoyts Moorhouse is closed.
There is only Hoyts Riccarton (its in a mall: say no more), Hornby (3 screens, also in a mall) and Sumner movie theatres open. Oh well, just get a video: except Alice in Videoland is behind the redzone cordon. :(
Still havent made it to PAUL or SUCKER PUNCH.

Yeah right  but it worth their while making sure we can't go outside their distribution network to get it, the small percentage of that 4 and a bit million that would be interested :violin:
By the way its over 3 strikes, at three they can apply and if you haven't changed your ISP after warning 2 ...
lets not talk proxies and encrypted VPNs etc neither as I'm too lazy to be bothered
