View Full Version : The worst movie you've seen recently?

2012. An absolute disaster of a movie. The script & acting were as limp as a boned fish. Even worse, it was 151 minutes long.

Almost comedic, after the disaster the hapless brainless dregs surviving as the pinnacle of the human race decided to "reset the clock" so to speak, starting at year 0001.

Geez, just so more train spotters can argue that new milleniums start at 1001, 2001, etc...

(Actually I enjoyed that movie in a dumb turn off brain and just watch it way. I can do that with movies. I even liked watching Armageddon and all those daft disaster movies that made no real sciency sense. Frankly I don't think the Lord of the Rings movies were much better, once you looked past the visuals and stuff.)

I hated Napoleon Dynamite and the Harry Potter movies make me fall asleep. But mostly I just forget movies I really hated.

That recent Alice in Wonderland movie, now I didn't hate it, but it kind of just washed over me, leaving very little impression on me.

2012 stunk. Effects were big, mom was hawt, woody was OK and it still made me want to barf for the last hour. I stayed with it to see if the twee clichés could keep dropping like bodies in Rambo 3. They did, for the same duration.

I only recently caught 'Eddie and the Cruisers 2' for the first time. That's the pouty, mustachioed, mullet and cringe fest for the ages.

Battle OF Los Angeles. Its a quick 'n' dirty knock off of "Battle: Los Angeles" (which wasn't all that wonderful either)

My favourite part was where the runway collapsed when the plane took off and they flew a couple of miles under the crumbling surface and it was ooohhh scary. Pull up you dickheads that's why you're in an aeroplane.

And on the scientology thing, has it got crazier and more money-grabbing since hubbard left the scene? as I would have expected such a successful writer to have decent grounding in morality/sanity.
