I always liked Wall of Voodoo since George Carlin used to do a bit about listening to baseball in Spanish. George could understand exactly what was going on without speaking a word.

Jim Steinman wrote several iconic and just plain brilliant songs for many artists but this one as the 'singer' credits him as a OHW. (or does it...?)

<iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/gUFSPOTzUTk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I wrote 'singer' because apparently he didn't actually sing it on the album 'Bad for Good' ... it was sung by a guy called Rory Dodd who did not get a credit for singing it.

The Newcastle song and Shad uppa ya face. I can't take the risk of searching for them on youtube and accidently viewing them.

The "one" hit thing seemed to go away a while ago. You see someone mention Led Zeppelin? Besides, that was four tracks, count the "hits"...

Just after my 30th birthday....and I'd have tapped her in a moment back then...

And always wondered why sometimes the Kwakas leaned on corners but on the front-on close-up shots they sat bolt-upright on the corners....and why they and the traffic around them always seemed to be doing about 30mph so much of the time..:weird:

Pretty sure that song is about a merry-go-round.
''round and round they go, up and down, together''..etc

hang on, could also be a line out of a pron movie

The song was inspired by the the Movie "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" about the dance marathons in the '20s

The Barbarella factor.

Ummm... Surely if you picked one stand-out song from Underworld (http://allmusic.com/artist/underworld-p14596)'s extensive repertoire, it'd have to be this one:

Underworld - Born Slippy NUXX (Trainspotting Version) (1996)

<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JbPkxg69KAs?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JbPkxg69KAs?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

Ahhh, oops. so the bands not really a one hit wonder....at all.
I remember the Underneath the radar song well - 1st luff used to play it often - her idea of a shag song i guess.

Damn - I must have about 10 different mixes of " Born Slippy NUXX (Trainspotting Version) (1996)" - and never knew it was an underworld tune.

Cheers.
