I think you will all find Los Del Rio's 'Macarena' is the most famous and biggest one hit wonder of all time. It made millions and is still popular on cruise ships everywhere (they all have hughly popular Macarena dance comps on Lido deck in the hot sun fueled by rum swizzels) plus they never did anything of international note before or since.

Mary. Not well received by the critics, despite the popularity. But she's more attractive than Bwyan Fewwy.

Most observers considered 10,000 Maniacs (http://allmusic.com/artist/10000-maniacs-p3482) dead in the water following the departure of vocalist Natalie Merchant (http://allmusic.com/artist/natalie-merchant-p105275). Instead of calling it quits, the remaining members hired the jangle-folk duo John & Mary (http://allmusic.com/artist/john-mary-p13342), whose guitarist, John Lombardo (http://allmusic.com/artist/john-lombardo-p89316), played in one of the original incarnations of the Maniacs (http://allmusic.com/artist/the-maniacs-p3482). The revamped group's first album, Love Among the Ruins (http://allmusic.com/album/love-among-the-ruins-r277534), illustrated that the band could replicate their signature, gently jangly sound without too much effort, but it also illustrated that the group lacked focus without Merchant (http://allmusic.com/artist/merchant-p105275). Love Among the Ruins (http://allmusic.com/album/love-among-the-ruins-r277534) is a pleasant listen, but Mary Ramsey (http://allmusic.com/artist/mary-ramsey-p116892)'s thin voice occasionally grates, the songs are uniformly slight, and the cover of Roxy Music (http://allmusic.com/artist/roxy-music-p108518)'s "More Than This" is an outright embarrassment.
