Hi I'm looking at buying a 1999 Honda Cbr600 f for $6000. It has done 25000 km and its from a dealer.
I want to know if any body has had an experience with this bike.
All the help I can get would be appreciated.

good bikes, but i cant help but think thats over priced. cost of a dealer though I guess.
Another $1500 and you could buy my R1 . . .

I have a 2000 Honda CBR600F4. It has been a great bike. I really love it.

I actually thought initially it was overpriced too, but really when you think about it they are such a great all-round bike that will go forever and a day, so it's worth the money (condition dependant of course). A quick search of trademe finds a private '98 model done 46k for $5.5k.

Lovely bike mate, good all around machine for sure. 6k seems about right from a dealer, I would expect it might not be the tidiest aesthetically. If you keep a close eye on trademe, good private examples tend to come up and disappear just as quickly.
Have fun!

I live in AUS and bike is 4450aus. Everything is expensive here so for this price the bike looks like a steal. Condition is very good.

I bought a 2000 model in a private sale last year for $5,500.
A bit cheaper than the one your looking at but it's done 60K and has a few tell-tale signs of being dropped at some time in its life.
I've been really pleased with it, and I can see it lasting me for a few more years.
