Hi all, my 99 cbr 600f4 has a bit of a flat spot between 5500rpm and 6000rpm, after 6000 it goes as it should.It is not bad, but noticeable. It has a standard mufflar and airfilter, i do not know if the jetting is standard, but everything else is , so i would assume the jetting is standard. Its just a little annoying as 5500 is 100km/h in 6th, so it means you always have to chop down if you want to accelerate. Altho it has been suggested to me that the f3 and f4 cbr 600s are known for a flat spot from factory, is this true? If thats the case a carb sync would do nothing?
