View Full Version : Master cylinder not fitting in new rearset properly

So yer got the rearsets.. and the master cylinder doesnt seem to wanna go on in one hit. take a look at the pics and see for urself and you'll get exactely what i mean.

Any ideas would be great? i think you can just change the whole arm to it. have something that comes off that can fit into it or what not. not a major but only downer to the near rearsets.

Should'nt the master cylinder be mounted on the outside of the footrest hanger?it looks like it will line up then.
Just realised I take it your bike is a VJ21?then the master cyl. is threaded?and the rearsets are not threaded?
This is the opposite of my VJ22.Bodgers option???longer threaded bolts and locknuts...but only if there is clearance between the rearset and swingarm.

Yer master cyl threaded. And i cant have the bracket that clips onto the lever will hit the swingarm if you straight mount it on.
