I've found on google chrome KB does not want me to upload photos from my computer. If I click the "Insert Image" icon in posts the pop-up box only contains "Please enter the URL of your image". Is this a problem directly with how KB interacts with chrome or a problem to do with security settings?
Insert image is for linking images from the Internet, not uploading from your computer I belive. e.g. You use the Insert Image tool to link a picture from Wikipedia (or whatever).
If you want to upload from your computer, you should use the Attachments tool (beside the smiley face).

Oh righty...
Ok I see it attaches this way... but how about attaching a picture within a post instead at the footer? I can do that in Internet Explorer using the "Insert Image" button.

IE like this one. (That's the pop-up box I see in internet explorer in which you can choose from computer or from URL)

Oooh.... I'd never seen that before...
There are many ways I guess, but an alternative way is, you can always click on your attachment (which will open up a new browser) then copy that image URL to paste it in the "Insert Image" button.

Havn't used IE for a long time so wouldn't know a similar way, sorry.

Upload the image, then it gives you some links, you copy the forum one and click insert image then put the imageshack link you copied.
