I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places to buy:

1: A really low key sort of leather jacket that doesn't scream out "BIKER!"(If you've seen the movie "Limitless" you'll know what I'm talking about.

and

2: A really decent helmet with a good tinted visor

both in Palmy

Cheers

I've seen that movie, I even ride a honda, but I have no idea what you are talking about! :bleh:

Can't think of any leather jackets that would offer decent protection that don't look like a biker jacket. However, the honda shop are very good to deal with, and should be able to sort you out for the helmet, and point you in the right direction for the jacket. Anza might be a good place for the more image-conscious biker too :innocent:

Really depends on how much coin your wanting too spend

you can either go retail and take whats on the shelf or get one tailor made

Sam at Celtic leather does a nice job and he is rather close to Palmy just over the hill http://www.celtic-leathers.com/news.php

And I have a few good helmets gathering dust if you want a 2nd hand bargain, and I'm just up the road, or TSS in Lower Hutt will look after you. They have some wicked Shoei bargains at the mo.

Smalls or larges. No mediums left for for me in a pattern I wanted :crybaby:. I would get in quick too, they are real fecking cheap. Last years maybe? PM Jimmy, he'll have a good idea of whats left.

This is what I was referring to,
I'll have a look at celtic/Anza.

Yeah it just gets annoying when you have low sun right infront of you. + it would be useful to have another helmet for passengers. Or maybe I just like spending money on biking stuff, I dunno :)

Thanks guys

Passengers don't come in universal sizes. An ill-fitting helmet can be just bad as no helmet at all. In some instances worse. You'd have to buy helmets for all your potential passengers.
