Hey guys ! Im new to the forum and a complete noob when it comes to offroading. I have the basic skills on how to ride a bike but im still not so confident. I was just wondering how busy the sandpit is during the week say 9-3 ? As I would much rather be there with less people than a heap of pro riders.. haha. Any help is much appreciated !

I would recommend river riding or paddock riding first Shane Watts Dvd is a good watch and practice the skills. makes riding the tracks a lot easier. I just started riding 6 months ago and am just starting to get to grips with things.

you will be fine up there on a quad, and its usually pretty quiet their midweek, lots of trails to explore

Sandpit during the week is great! You'll be fine.
If you go on a Wed or Fri the warden Jodi will be able to tell you where to go and explain the map to you - she is a Quaddie too so maybe you could swap tips/carnage stories.
Wed is great as the tracks have been freshly groomed & as long as you stay on the yellow and green tracks it'll be piss easy - great time of year for the sand being nice and wet
Have fun

In my experience on the weekends I very rarely bump into people on the tracks

You'll be sweet, its got clearly marked novice/learner tracks. And its aimed at novice through to expert, and for families.
Good place to learn the ropes I reckon.
