To the LC nut out there (RD350LC) Resto

I have seen this bike, and the pic don't even come close to doing it any justice. it would have to be one of the best restores i've seen, down to factory new bolt being bought in the correct places and warning stickers under seats etc ,
A lot of the time guys paint a frame and repaint the tank and call it a restore, not the case with this one, lately i've seen guys paying around the 5-6 k and then restoring them. This is looks expensive but if you paid someone to bring it to this standard im sure you'd smoke well over 10k

I can think of a few reasons why you would want to know the frame & engine numbers;


Is it original engine for the frame? (People get needlessly obsessive about that)
Is it a 4LO or other market Canada etc?
Is it a 250 with 350 top end?
Is it their old one that was stolen back in the 80s?

Yea thats the first question asked "matching frame and engine numbers" big deal to collectors. I'm just happy if the crank is ok.

Would be common in UK when they were the most stolen bike as no one had garages.

damn nice looking bikes, had a 350, stan stevens tuned.
Now what I would love as a weekend 'errrrr' thrash bike? is what was done as a conversion in the UK, RD350LC frame and a tweaked RD400 motor fitted,,, went damn well too :D
