I'm looking to fix up some fairings myself (for a race bike, so the finish doesn't have to be perfect)
Some of of the damage is just cracks, others is chunks missing
I'm thinking:
- Pick up one of these Fibreglass repair kits (http://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/online-store/products/3M-Fibreglass-Rejpair-Kit.aspx?pid=220278#Description)
-Clean up and sand down damaged panel as best as I can
-fibreglass the inside of the damaged section
-bog over outside to smooth (filling in any chunks missing)
-sand down paint up
