Recently rebuilt G/Box (have reciepts) cost approx $1700
Valve clearances done at the same time
Metzeler M1 tires, tread is getting low.
Micron exhaust

Braided brake lines
Mint pads
Fork seals replaced recently, new 10w oil
Engine oil and coolant replaced >500 Kms ago. 5w castrol oil
Mini indicators and Mirrors
Chain and sprockets in good cond.

Rego on Hold, No WOF. will pass one easy.

Will swap for s14 or s15 sr20de. Manual or auto. Otherwise will take 6k ONO

Hell, for the same price and less as the ops bike there are (or were last week) at least two '99 models with less k's.

Ho hum

Having owned a K3-K4 GSXR1000 and 2 SRAD's (an injected and a carbed), I'd take the SRAD thanks. Just a bit more mongrel than the later model stuff.

In my personal experience, the carbed SRADs are better to ride than the injected ones. The single butterfly throttle bodies were a bit of a bitch at track days as they'd completely shut fuel/air supply when braking and I had massive problems with rear wheel hop. I'd have the OP's bike in a heartbeat over the later model SRADs.

Could be, you're cleverer than me when it comes to this stuff but... I still dont think your preference for a carbed bike means its worth more than a later model.

... I guess i'll just say, my 'near offer' would be 4.5k
