YZ125 carb interchangeable

Does anyone know if a 02 carb (or any other years) will fit a 03 YZ125?

I don't see why not most 125 carbys stayed very similar over the past 10 years changed. If you got to mrcycles.com and compare part numbers of both years you will know straight away if it has the same number.

Slightly different numbers mine is 5UN-141101-00-00 and 02 is 5HD or 5NY but the rest of the numbers are the same. I know the 2000 model and below had a 36mm carb and post 2000 or 01 have 38mm. Aparantly some have a different angle at which the carb mouth meets the air box and can tear the air box boot.

the 1st part of the number is only telling you what year it is from the last 2 00 just mean it is a USA part number hope this helps

On ebay if you search parts they will give you years on wrecking parts eg, fits 02-04.

Have bought a 02 carb from ebay, they reckon it'll fit my 03. :woohoo:
