RMX250 and dirt bike newbie here. (Coming from a CBR250RR)
May I know what year models of the RM250 are interchangeable with my 2000 RMX250 and are all year models RMX250 the same, like are all RMX250 interchangeable?
Can I replace the metal gas tank to a non-metal one from another RMX250 or RM250?
Can I still follow the Clymer service manual like the power valves, top end...etc since it only talks about 89-95? I have it, but can't seem to find any info about the oil fill bottle that my bike has.
Can I do the top end rebuild and power valves cleaning even if the engine is left on the bike? Manual states I should remove the engine.
Now my main concern about this bike is the height...Am 5'6 or 28inch inseam. One foot, tip toes, epic lean just to touch road and slipping in uphill. So currently I won't be riding this in the street in the meantime because I live in a hilly location till am able to put atleast one whole foot down. So here's my question will a Kouba Link from a 98-2000 RM250 fit? and/or is there any other alternatives to lower it even more? I don't plan on jumping with this bike, but will be doing off roading on sand and open fields.
