That is very cool, those blokes make it look easy.
But please, it's FREERIDE, not Freewind, uuurrgh, shudder, not even in the same ballpark. :msn-wink:

What an awesome advert!...and looks like a great bike :niceone:

notice that to help the ad reinforce the 'free' aspect of the bike the guys have
1/ no tools
2/ no drink or firstaid gear
3/ no upper body protection at all

hell they dont even have to let their bikes warm up before thay can start pulling wheelies

I'd refuse to ride with ill equiped riders like that (mate can I 'borrow' a drink.... have you got a tube I could use...)

cool bike - unrealistic and irrisponsible ad

why isnt my spell checker working - I'm doomed

You mean you didn't see the full film crew, with any drink you could want, a full KTM factory parts truck and mechanic, the support helicopter, and paramedic team standing by? Mate, with what those guys bring on the ride, why would you not ride with them? They might also teach you a few tricks too :msn-wink:

Oops!
I wonder if/when it will be released here? And, if so, whether it will be road-legal?
Apparently, it is very light too.

I'd refuse to ride with ill equiped riders like that (mate can I 'borrow' ya Redbull helicopter.... have you got a tube I could use in the back of your semi-trailer ...)

 Marks, I have to agree they make it look fluffy ... but it aint real.

See also new proto type or new model bikes in adds never have mirrors or number plate assemblies that hang to the ground, and if it is a Ducati it already has homigroni and DP parts splattered all over it.

My rant .. back to work now, as you were.

Fuel injected, 28hp, 5L tank, MT43 tyres.

Think you need to either get laid or get out more.

not without -

1/ a box full of condoms, dental dams and 3 types of antiseptic lube
2/ a full medical report including AIDS test
3/ a note from my Mum

P.S. KTM Freewind sounds like a Womens fanny pad.

Is it light?? My 200exc is 97kg and 40ish odd horse.
But in saying that this looks like a very trials based bike with the low horsepower I'd suspect it is very linear with large low down torque.
Damn good for learning skills on but not sure if It'd be my choice for fanging around the sandpit, Thunder or Kimmies??
Or the style of riding we mostly do around here.
Horses for coarses though probably not much you couldn't climb in that thing!

definiely need to get laid more

maybe I was too hasty
seeing as they only have a pathetic 5l tank they'll run out of gas before the rider needs a drink or gets a flat.
I'm suprised the rider didnt stop and fill up straight after the first wheelie.....

It never hurts!

I reckon at only 28 odd hp, you'd be surprised how long you could ride on 5L for. My RMZ450 only held 6.2l but went for a while. Well...a while by my totally unfit status.

You got that right Crasher looking at my records Mine has a 10L tank and I did 2.7 hours and 100k ish for 9L of fuel!
I did the T100 year before last and was on the bike for 4 hours straight
Couldn't even stand up on the pegs for the last 1/2 lap. Mega vet class, shoulda stopped at my required 2 laps but some madness in my head wanted to do another lap to prove how young I wasn't

I know mate. Last moto-x I did was only a VMX meet on my 400N. Couldn't walk properly for a week, felt like I'd been rogered by a rhinoceros.

Well call me dumb too but my Gasser EC300 is 102kg (electric start) and 50hp :niceone: with buckets loads of torque from the bottom, even better is the low centre of gravity of the two stroke makes it very nimble in tight spots, you can lean it over with bugger all weight change.

Looks like KTM trying to achieve with a four stroke which there two strokes have had for years.

Good to see them finally produce something with a reasonable seat height

I see Julien Dupont was the rider, he could make a nifty 50 look cool
