the ultimate in TV - viewed from one side or the other (45° of seperation), this Sharp TV can show 2 channels on the same screen (with seperate headphones).. So effectively, it's 2 TV sets in one. The ironic thing is, it costs the same as 2 TVs at the moment.. But, as the news clip at the end shows, it could have potential for a few uses, like SatNav (driver sees directions, everyone else sees tv)..

The file size is around ~16.4mb, but the news anchor reporting on it is almost worth the watch alone..

yeah saw that on the web the other day

phased array speaker panels will have to be developed more now, with a panel of say 20 little speakers on the front of the tv, and acurate dimensions of the room and a little electric wizardry people sitting in different areas of the room could hear completely differernt things or nothing at all, and in full surround too.
