Just want to give George props again..
Got my bike serviced by him last week - runs wickedly good now. He noticed a few things (like indicators without e-marks - that I didnt know I needed) and a couple of safety things which he sorted.
He sourced some replacement indicators and came and dropped them off for me (at a great price too).
George Rocks.

Question?..Does he do warrants?
I'm pretty sure the answer to that question is no. He does supply & fit tyres though and at very competitive prices.

I agree, George does awesome work.
However E-coded lenses are only really required for VIN compliance purposes or doing a low-vol cert after serious modification/scratch build. Hell, I ran cheap shitty turn signals on the front of my Bandit for two years, the WOF testers won't even look at them close enough to see if they're E-marked or not (they weren't). Maybe in the letter of the law they're required for a warrant but in practise, nope.
A lot of custom bike builders just keep a shitty E-marked headlight and blinkers for when they need to get a VIN or an LVVTA, slap 'em on and then pull 'em off when it's done and put the trick aftermarket stuff back on.

E-coded lenses aren't a legal requirement, its just that any E-coded stuff is guranteed to meet the standard, the other stuff needs to be checked. WOF places are just lazy enough to demand E-coded stuff, and so it becomes common 'knowledge' that E-coding is a requirement. At least that is my understanding of the lighting legal documents. I still get E-Coded stuff where possible cos pissing off the WOF guys is a good way to get them to look close at other things that might not comply :innocent:

Just had him over to look at my bikes. Sorted out the issues I had, answered all my questions well, even checked some other stuff for me. Then gave me a discount on the quoted price :shit:

At the bottom of the appraisals page it says he does wofs and regos.
Does anyone know about how much he would charge for a service?
