Just a heads up guys.
Takinini motorcycle wreckers has been around a fair while
The owner Henry is a bloody decent bloke
Well worth giving him a yell if you need second hand parts for your bike or even if you are maybee looking to go out racing because he is regularly importing some pretty nice kit.
His prices seem pretty darned sharp too
Mention you are from KB and he will look after you
Check out his website.
www.motorcyclewrecker.com or e mail him taka.mc@clear.net.nz
I just convinced him to join up on KB as a real member not a lurker so watch for TAKM making an apearance from time to time

He sorted me out with rear footpegs when I couldn't find any anywhere else, only costed $20 pair instead of $70 each new.

It might be better to ring ...although someone is running things,i seem to remember Henry saying he was going on a shut down at the Otahuhu power station around now..so he is probably in and out of the shop.It is definately a first class service (imho) :niceone:

Done. Just used to do things more by phone... quicker to get things done.

I agree it is quicker by phone, but a lot of time is spent on the phone for the guy on the other end, Henry just finds it easier to check email thru out the day and answer as soon as he can. :)
