I apologise in advance

That reminds me, must look up group riding etiquette on here.

I have gone on a forum dredge to find some group riding etiquette but can't find anything. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I reckon this should be a sticky somewhere...

Really enjoyable ride for a great cause and the Fat Bikers are a really good bunch. Unfortunately, the ride to Auckland from Coromandel was in torrential rain and my bloody jacket leaked badly for the first time after a few years of ownership. Hey ho,birthday coming up soon

Thanks guys for a great day!

It was a great day indeed. The skies finally cleared as we set off for Albany:cool:

Top effort from those that travelled from out of town to participate in the ride for such a great cause in fairly miserable conditions. About 70 bikes were counted. Bring on next year!

What can I say, a brilliant event

Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Combined rides all at the same time for a worthy cause.

Thanks to everyone who came along to share in this event. As I said at the Auckland ride, the best gift you can give anyone is your time and each and everyone of you that showed up today did EXACTLY that.

The FBMC have already had a major sponsorship commitment for the Bikers in Blue ride for 2013 so lets make next year's event bigger and better.

Thanks to the FBMC folk who helped organise the day, our sponsors for both venues and prizes, the raffle ticket sellers, directional people and food junkies, all of you made the day today what it was.

All up we raised the best part of $1,000 between us, a great effort by everyone concerned.

Remember lads, early detection is the key so man up and get tested, that's how you avoid becoming a statistic.

Cheers all

Take Care, Ride Safe & Eat Well

3 of us came up from Hamilton - got absolutely saturated before a quick stop at Mercer to wring out the clothes and put the gloves on the pipes to warm them up and try and dry them out. It was all pretty good after that and all the way home. Well done Fatty Max, well organised and good bunch of people.
