Angels get closer. You forget the Silence when you look away, not when they look away and the angels don't look away.
Hope that isn't a spoiler for the new series

but is not a Silence looking away the same as the Weeping Angel looking away? Someone is still looking away & thus the same overall result should ensue should it not???
And in a one on one between a Cyberman and a Dalek which wins?
well thats easy, Dalek... Cybermen are power in numbers
Even the show answered that question
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBSOhODoch0
cybermen - "We have 5 million cybermen how many are you?"
darlek - "four"
cybermen - "You would destroy the cybermen with four daleks?"
darlek - "We would destroy the cybermen with one dalek. You are superior in only one respect."
cybermen - "What is that?"
darlek - "You are better at dying."

The Angels sneak up on you when you aren't looking however you forget the Silence when you are no longer looking at them. Therefore if the Angel looked away it would forget the Silence but if the Angel kept its eyes on the Silence whilst the silence blinked or looked away the Angel would be able to move towards the Silence. Can the Angel steal the Silence's time if, once the Silence has been sent off in time by the Angel, the Angel can no longer remember the Silence?

If the silence and weeping angel are facing and looking at each other, the weeping angel is frozen while the silence is free to walk toward and past the weeping angel while keeping his eyes on the weeping angel until he is out of the weeping angels line of sight. The silence can then do as he pleases but the weeping angel has now forgotten the silence and is still frozen, until the silence looks away from it.

Under the new Doctor, stairs pose no problem for the Daleks. Daleks have no need for stairs

How does that work then? They are on wheels but have very little ground clearance. Do they have a big spring like Zebedeee?

They levitate. You shoulda seen Christopher Ecclestone's face when one levitated up a stairwell when he tried to use the stairs to dodge it.

Dunno why he was so surprised when they first did it in 1988 with the seventh Dr

Dr to Visit? (http://www.stuff.co.nz/entertainment/tv/7695847/Will-Peter-Jackson-direct-Dr-Who)
Kiwi director Peter Jackson says he'll be there to direct it if an idea to film Dr Who in New Zealand goes ahead.
Matt Smith, the 11th actor to play the time traveller in the hit BBC series, told the Waikato Times today he would start a campaign to film an episode in New Zealand with Sir Peter Jackson directing.
Can you imagine the possible story lines?
The Dr arrives to save the taniwha related to the lizard people but sets off the volcano that destroys the pink and white terraces however his actions save the humans sheltering in the pub close to the eruption. BTW there was a pub where people sheltered and some wonder as to how they and it survived
