Alright photos are here. Unfortunately I don't have access to the same toolsets as before so they are lacking somewhat aesthetically.

EDIT: If you want to download a photo, pull up the one you want then click 'actions' then 'view all sizes.' There should be a download link on the page or you can right click and save image as. Give me a yell if you want a higher resolution.

Also no usage without attribution.

Greetings all,

Cruised into Kaitaia today for the groceries and ..........

the Peria - Fairbairn section of gravel that most of you did twice on Saturday has now been completely graded over the last three days.

Great fun on a DRZ250 but wouldn't have been too much fun for those with less experience if we all had done it this afternoon.

The importance of timing.

I'm happy to join any one that wants a run up 90 Mile Beach on next years event.

Imagine doing it in the rain

It does not bear thinking about

I rode home from Auckland yesterday afternoon - and hit solid rain from Waipu all the way home - ended up far wetter than I was on Saturday by the time I got home. Still 1,681km since leaving home on Friday morning.

And it was raining today as well - still is as I type this!

Rain actually binds a newly graded surface together pretty well - until you get to the point where there has been too much rain and you get slush - and on a DRZ slush is FUN!

Which is why I have more than one motorcle - and now I have two very dirty bikes to clean.

Yip 300 Kms in absolute ideal riding conditions...Marsden roundabout had both front and rear tyres going left (away from me) at the same time....something on the road me thinks, the surface is sweet as.

This roundabout has a fine dusting of rubber from all the logging trucks apparently. I have been warned about it recently but have not experienced the drift.
You should have boosted this into a story about your epic heroics. Ie, I was doing 200kmh round the roundabout sliding both ends ...etc
