Been there on a bike. Parked at front of the building (sidewalk/footpath) next to a Triumph and a scooter, no designated parking for MCs far as I could see... Ride straight in, no worries.

I had a look via Google Earth .. and couldn't see any. A few possible places a motorcycle could possibly be parked though.

I normally park either by the door (plenty of wide footpath, make sure to not obstruct anyone especially disabled people and wheelchairs please), or by the car's parking meter near the door's crossing.

Parking, Auckland & hospitals are some sort of contradiction in terms I would have thought.
(Especially if you add the word "free" - inferred here I believe.) :nya:

On the offchance someone will read this soon, i am at the hospital now, found a nice place to park, but wondering how it is free? I took a ticket on the way in rather than riding around the arm because the lady in the booth was staring at me and i wasnt sure of the rules...

Pretty sure that I had read before that you just tell them you are on a motorcycle when you leave and they open the barrier arm for you. At Wellington hospital I just ride around the barriers and I have never had any trouble (parking is monitored by Wilsons).

You ride up to the booth on a motorcycle and have to tell them you're on a motorcycle? What are they, fuckin blind as well as stupid?

For the most part they are people with a shit job. Don't know about booths Wellington, Hutt and (I think) North Shore hospitals have automated barrier arms with a comms system.
