Race related product stores in England

So in the Uk at the mo, is there anywhere that stands out in terms of places to look at race bike gear, or race bikes in general? Or perhaps just a massive bike store?

depending upon where in the uk you are.....if you get the chance i would reccommend westagate road in newcastle, known as 'the hill'. im pretty sure it has the most bike shops on one road in the uk, all in around 1/2 k or so. whether its moto cross, old bangers, full on race prep, dainese dealer, used parts, helmet and apparel dealers, cheap indian importers and all the usual big name dealers and some great greasey spoons and tattoo shops.

easy to spend a few hours wandering around the stores there

Been a while since i was back there............. but Demon Tweeks (used to be cars only) are pretty big. There are some l big superstores ..just pick up a copy of MCN and they will all be advertising in there. You picked a lousy time to visit UK/Europe for race meetings.
Where are you heading or just travelling around.

The Ally Pally/excel trade show had gone downhil last time I was there, but I guess you get to see the new bikes, some exotic race bikes and pick up some cheaper riding kit

Hmmm, not sure how much you'll get about but these places spring to mind
